The VAN Veteran Committee

Together We Can Do More!

Through the VAN Veteran Committee we come together as a community to establish the focus of VAN’s efforts to support and honor those who have given so much. Within the committee we learn of new and innovative programs, establish fund raising efforts for VAN’s non-profit members, identify veteran need within the community and establish programs, events, or efforts to remedy those needs. Our committee consists of VAN Business Members, Non-Profit Organizations, Military Community Leaders, and Local Veterans. Together we find ways to empower, support, and grow all of the wonderful organizations within Tampa Bay who are working every day to support the veteran community. VAN and its members seek to collaborate and strengthen local programs for veterans and learn how to best create results that matter.

Target Topics

The VAN Veteran Committee is an open forum of discussion encompassing the following topics

  • VAN Calendar – Where Membership Funds are Allocated
  • Future Events & Event Champions – Discussion for Future Events and Business Opportunities to Champion Events
  • VAN Expos – Determine Veteran Need and Establish Impactful Opportunities
  • Veterans’ Village – Identifying Business and Non-Profit Opportunity to Reach the Veteran Community
  • Non-Profit Organizations | Mission Link – How Can VAN Help and Support Local Non-Profit Organizations
  • American Legion Fundraising Efforts for VAN FREE Veteran Events – How is American Legion Helping, and Why
